Welcome to the August edition of our newsletter! This month at Maxfort International School has been full of vibrant celebrations and meaningful activities that brought our community together. From honoring our nation's independence to celebrating the joyful festival of Janmashtami, our students have actively participated in diverse events that highlight cultural appreciation and community spirit. Let’s explore the highlights of this month!
Independence Day Celebration
On August 15th, we proudly celebrated India's Independence Day with tremendous enthusiasm. The school was beautifully decorated in the tricolor, creating a festive atmosphere. Students took part in a flag hoisting ceremony that filled the air with patriotic spirit. Various performances, including traditional dances and inspiring speeches, showcased the rich heritage of our country.

The event concluded with a moving rendition of the national anthem, reminding us of the sacrifices made for our freedom. This day was about pride and unity, as students, teachers, and parents came together to celebrate our nation. Conversations and connections among parents increased, with many expressing their appreciation for the school’s commitment to instilling national pride.
Janmashtami Celebration
Following Independence Day, we welcomed the spirit of Janmashtami with a lively celebration. Students dressed as characters from the epic tales of Lord Krishna, creating skits that brought these stories to life. Laughter and joy filled the air as everyone engaged in traditional games and activities.

The highlight of the day was the Dahi Handi event, where students formed human pyramids to break a pot filled with curd. This not only symbolized the playful nature of Lord Krishna but also nurtured teamwork and camaraderie among students. Participation was high, with over 100 students joining in the fun, making it a truly memorable experience.
Health Checkup Camp
In our ongoing commitment to student well-being, we organized a Health Checkup Camp this month. Qualified medical professionals conducted thorough assessments for all students, ensuring they are healthy and ready for the academic year.
The camp featured eye tests, dental checkups, and general health screenings, providing insightful information about our students' health status. More than 85% of students participated, and parents had the opportunity to learn about the importance of regular health checkups, reinforcing our community's commitment to health.
Other Activities
In addition to these significant events, August was filled with various activities, such as art workshops, sports competitions, and environmental awareness programs. Students showcased their creativity and teamwork skills, making this month truly memorable.
We also held a parent-teacher meeting to discuss student progress and explore ways to enhance the learning experience. The collaboration between parents and teachers proved vital in nurturing our students' growth, with numerous parents suggesting innovative ideas for future projects and improvements.
Wrapping Up August
As we conclude this month, our gratitude goes to the vibrant community at Maxfort International School. The celebrations and activities not only enriched our students' experiences but also strengthened our bonds as a school family. We eagerly anticipate more exciting events in the coming months and encourage everyone to stay engaged and involved.
Thank you for being a part of our journey. We look forward to sharing more updates in September!
